The Veterans Memorial Park Committee was disbanded on July 9, 2024 after careful deliberation and planning. The committee transferred responsibility of the park and it's care to the newly established Veterans Memorial Honor Guard which is also incorporated as a non-profit in the state of Minnesota and has 501(c)(3) status with the Internal Revenue Service.
